Some of the funnest times I had in Mexico City were at local cantinas in my neighborhood chatting and dancing the night away to cumbia and salsa. It’s part of what inspired this 30 track mix (a little over and hour and a half)…there’s a combination of hits and lesser known gems. It’s great for spicing up your next party or just playing in the background. Feel free to share! You can stream it on mixcloud or download it.

New School, old school, home skooled?!?! For many years, playing upbeat sets of old school hip hop, funk, and party hits was what I was most known for as a DJ. This 3 and a half hour set of nothing too new won’t let you down. I mixed this digitally so it lacks the all the scratching and record cutting I like to do live in the club. Warning: songs are not edited, language may be questionable.

In my younger years, I DJed at raves and went by the name DJ D-Cypol. I’m still a huge fan of old school drum and bass. All of these tracks are from the 1994-96 era. Warning: a few tracks have questionable language.
